Prerequisite: Demonstrated knowledge of SAT course materials by passing the associated exam.
Overview: This workshop provides instructors an opportunity to obtain a certificate to teach the diagnostic analytic techniques. Student instructors will be expected to teach each of the diagnostic analytic techniques. They must develop a lesson plan for at least one technique, teach the techniques before a small group, demonstrated the ability to assess student learning, provide feedback to their students, and conduct an assessment of their own performance.
Student instructors will demonstrate their ability to develop course lesson plans and to teach students to use the following ten structured analytic techniques:
- Structured Brainstorming
- Key Assumptions Check
- Multiple Hypothesis Generation
- Analysis of Competing Hypotheses
- Indicators Generation and Validation
- Premortem Analysis and Structured Self-Critique
