This one-day course teaches Structured Analytical Techniques (SATs) and Strategic Foresight skills including Structured Brainstorming, Key Assumptions Check, Analysis of Competing Hypotheses, and the Inconsistencies Finder.
- Instil these five analytic habits into your daily routine to make you a more accomplished critical thinker and make better decisions.
- Learn how to challenge your assumptions, consider multiple hypotheses or explanations, look for inconsistent information, identify key drivers, and understand the overarching context.
- Practice using these tools with five “hands-on” exercises.
Regular and Reserve personnel can use SLC funding to claim £175 for this course using MOD Form 1950 at the link. Speak to your Learning Development Centre staff or Education Officer for further guidance and pre-authorisation.
